Background Grameen Intel Social Business Ltd. (GISB) is a company creating applications that address specific social problems such as low agriculture output or lack of pre-natal care. Their solutions are developed within the company and can be coupled with a compact lightweight computing device for use by entrepreneurs to provide services using computing technology in their local communities. In order to enable adoption and subsequent scaling of its solutions and associated business models in Bangladesh, GISB seeks to understand the ecosystem, supply-chain and the pain points in the agriculture sector by way of ethnographic research.
