Description

Sightsavers works for livelihood development for the persons with disabilities (PWDs). It has taken an initiative to provide hands on training and support to selected local communities particularly persons with disabilities and Self-Help groups (SHG) members on developing business plan for their small businesses, maintaining quality of their products, establishing good will with potential clients, marketing strategy and plan for their products, assessing markets, keeping accounts and monitoring and reviewing of performances to contribute to feasible and sustainable economic development of themselves.

GMark Consulting Limited was thus assigned to facilitate A 3-days training to at least 200 men and women from the communities and SHGs on ‘Business Planning and Marketing Strategies’. A total of 08 batches of training was conducted, one (01) group from Dhaka and seven (07) groups from Narshingdi district. Each batch had 25 participants.
